Corporate Structure

The capital stock of Via Varejo is represented by 1.294.199.998 shares, of which 656.976.832 are common shares and 637.230.510 are preferred shares.

GPA is the Company’s controlling shareholder, with 62.5% of common shares, 23.4% of preferred shares and 43.2% of the Company‘s capital stock.

In December 2013, Via Varejo published the Announcement of Closing of Secondary Public Offering of Units [B3: VVAR11], informing the distribution of 123,696,984 Units, each representing one common share and two preferred shares issued by the Company. These freely-traded shares (free float) represent 29.4% of all shares issued by Via Varejo.
